Lancôme Virtuôse Precious Cells Mascara

ランコムのヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルは日本で 発売された最新のランコム マスカラです。普通のヴィルトゥーズ マスカラとは違い、ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルは、ヒアルロン酸とリンゴから抽出された細胞エキスパンテノール（プロビタミンB5）を配合しており、まつ毛の再生と強化を手伝ってくれます。すでにヴィルトゥーズ マスカラを良くご存知の方は、ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルを使うとすぐに、こちらのほうが薄くて滑らか、殆どダマになったり滲んだりしないことに気づくと思います。私は蒸し暑い日に1日中ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルを付けていたことがありますが、まだパンダ目に悩まされたことはありません。チューブとファイバータイプのマスカラのように、ほんの僅かにマスカラがポロポロと落ちますが、外出する前に注意してティッシュで余分なマスカラを拭い取れば問題ないです。オリジナルのヴィルトゥーズ マスカラがまつ毛をボリュームアップさせるのに対し、ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルはまつ毛を長く、1本1本を際立たせます。個人的にはオリジナルのヴィルトゥーズ マスカラの方が劇的な結果を得られて好みですが、多くの方はプレシャスセルの質感が与えてくれる柔らかくて羽のようなまつ毛を好むのではないかと思います。両方のマスカラ共に1日中まつ毛をカールさせるキープ力は素晴らしいです。私は元々まつ毛が太くて長いので、ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセル マスカラのトリートメント効果については語ることが出来ませんが、オイルタイプのメイクアップリムーバーを使えば簡単に落とせますし、他のランコムのマスカラよりも簡単に落ちます。

Lancôme's Virtuôse Precious Cells is the latest Lancôme mascara released in Japan. Unlike the regular Virtuôse mascara, Virtuôse Precious Cells contains hyaluronic acid and panthenol (provitamin B5) plant cell extract from apples to help regenerate and fortify lashes. Those of you familiar with the old Virtuôse will immediately notice upon using the new mascara that the Precious Cells formula is much thinner and slicker than the original Virtuôse formula, and that there is little to no clumping or smudging. I have worn Virtuôse Precious Cells outside all day in hot and humid weather and have yet to suffer from raccoon eyes. Much like tube and fiber-type mascaras, there is just the tiniest bit of flaking but by carefully tissuing off any excess mascara from your lashes before you step outside, the flaking can be eliminated. Whereas the original Virtuous thickened lashes, Virtuôse Precious Cells lengthens and separates. I personally prefer the more dramatic results of the original Virtuôse but many will likely prefer the soft, feathery lashes that the Precious Cells formula seems to produce. Both mascaras do a wonderful job of keeping your eyelashes curled all day. I cannot speak to the treatment properties of the Precious Cells mascara as my lashes are naturally long and thick, but I can say that the mascara comes off easily with any oil-based makeup remover and is much easier to remove than the other Lancôme mascaras.

I am torn over whether I should continue using the regular Virtuôse or switch to Precious Cells. I like the volumizing properties of the regular Virtuôse but with Precious Cells, I never have to worry about smudging, clumping, or dark circles under my eyes. One Virtuôse Precious Cells mascara is 3,990 yen (including tax).

Chanel Rouge Coco in 31 Cambon

シャネルのルージュココも、今季お気に入りのリップスティックのひとつです。ルージュ・ヴォリュプよりは微かに発色が少ない(とは言うものの、それで も発色は良いです)ですが、ルージュココは驚くほど滑らかで、カラーを落とした後でも美しい色合いが長時間にわたって持続します。とても軽くてバターのような質感で、唇に付けるとすぐに馴染んで、 まるで何も塗っていないかのような感じがします。雑誌Voceでモデル中川希良が使っていた色を見て、私は31 カンボンを購入しましたが、この色は色白、ピントーン、暗い色の髪をした方にオススメします。カンボンは若々しいチェリーピンクの赤色で、シャネルの本店があるパリのカンボン通り３１番地にちなんで名付けられていま す。このリップスティックは高価な部類に入りますが、そのパフォーマンスと使いやすさを考えると、ルージュココは賢明な投資と言えるのではないかと思います。ルージュココは１つ3,750円(税込)です。

Chanel's Rouge Coco also happens to be one of my favorite lipsticks of the season. Though slightly less pigmented as Rouge Volupté (but still very pigmented nonetheless), Rouge Coco is incredibly smooth and even after it wears off, leaves a beautiful stain that lasts for hours. The formula is so light and buttery that as soon as it is applied, it melts into your lips and feels as though you are not wearing anything at all. I purchased 31 Cambon after seeing the shade on model Kira Nakagawa in an issue of Voce (image on the left) and I highly recommend the shade to any pale-faced, pink-toned, dark-haired gal interested in the Chanel lip color line. Cambon is a youthful, cherry pink-red, named after 31 rue Cambon in Paris where the House of Chanel is located. The lipstick is on the expensive side but considering its performance and wearability, I would say that Rouge Coco is a wise investment. One Rouge Coco shade is 3,750 yen (including tax).

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté in 29 Rose Opéra

イヴ・サン ローランのルージュ・ヴォリュプは、現在最もお気に入りのリップスティックです。ルージュ・ヴォリュプはとても発色が良く、シルクのような滑らかさ、クリーミーで瑞々しさを与えてくれます。キープ力はなかなか良い、リップには少々輝きすらうかがえます。グロス・ピュールのように、ルージュ・ヴォリュプもスターフルーツのような香りがあります。29オペラローズはイヴ・サンローランのスプリングポイントメイクアップコレクション2010のうちのひとつとして発売された新色です。私が普段 あまり使うことの無い明るくてクールなローズピンクですが、雑誌のVoceに掲載されていたのが非常に綺麗だったので、購入しました。これは春には最適のカラーですし、明るい色のリップにはあまり興味がないという方にもチェックしてみることをオススメします。ルージュ・ヴォリュプはパッケージも豪華でデカダン派、しかも、いつでもどこでもリップを使えるように、 キャップの部分にはミラーがついています。イヴ・サンローランはリップメイクアップの登場で一気に私のお気に入りのブランドになりました。

Yves Saint Laurent's Rouge Volupté is probably my most favorite lipstick at this moment. Rouge Volupté is highly pigmented, silky-smooth, creamy, and almost moisturizing. Its lasting power is fairly decent and the lipstick even has a little shine. Like Gloss Pur, Rouge Volupté has a starfruit-like scent. 29 Rose Opéra is one of the newer shades released as part of YSL's 2010 Spring Point Makeup collection. It is a bright and cool rose-pink shade that I would not normally wear but looked so beautiful in Voce magazine that I just had to have it. It is a great color for spring and even if you do not care for bright lipstick shades, I highly recommend that you at least check it out. The Rouge Volupté packaging is also very luxurious and decadent, and the cap even has a mirror to help you apply your lipstick whenever, wherever. YSL is quickly becoming my favorite makeup brand when it comes to lip makeup.

IGNIS Mini Esthe Mask Smoothing

2ヶ月前、ハイエンドのスキンケア会社のイグニスがトレジャーラインミニエステとして４種類のマスクを発売しました。私は乾燥肌と敏感肌に悩まされていますので、ミニエステ マスクスムージングを試 してみることにしました。マスクスムージングは肌を瑞々しくし、落ち着かせてくれます。このマスクスムージングはパウダー、ジェル、カップ、スパチュラがセットでついています。マスクを作るために、まずプラスチックのカップにパウダーを入れ、さらにジェルを加えて約１分間ほど材料を混ぜ合わせます。混ぜ合わせた物はフワフワした質感で淡いグリーン色になります。いつもご自身でやられているスキンケアを終えた後、スパチュラを使って顔に塗っていき、約3分間放置します。終わりましたら、スパチュラやティッシュを用いてマスクを取り除きます。この時に水で洗い流さないようにしてください。

Two months ago, high-end skincare company Ignis released four different masks in their Treasure Mini Esthe Line. Since I suffer from both dry and irritated skin, I decided to give their Mini Esthe Mask Smoothing a try. Mask Smoothing is a mask to both hydrate and calm the skin. It comes with a packet of powder, gel, and a mixing bowl and spatula. To make the mask, pour the powder into the plastic mixing bowl, add the gel and mix the ingredients for about one minute. The mixture should have a fluffy texture and light green color. Apply the product to your face with the spatula after you have gone through your regular skincare routine and leave it on for 3 minutes. Use the spatula to remove the product or tissue it off when you are done. Do not wash off the mask with water.


マスクスムージングは顔に塗ると非常に冷たくて、気持ちを落ち着かせてくれます。少し強いラベンダーの香りがありま すが、強すぎるということはありません。マスクを取り除いた後、私の顔の赤みがいくらか引いたように感じましたが、もしかしたらマスクの色がグリーンだからかもしれません(緑色は赤色を中和するので)。マスクの原材料は、いつも私の皮膚を痛めるエタノールとメントールを含んでいますが、全くヒリヒリしませんでした。 これはマスクを長時間塗布しないからかもしれません。私は寝る直前にマスクを使いましたが、一日を家でのんびり過ごすという日以外でしたら、やはり寝る前 の使用をお勧めします。寝る前に顔がちょっとベトつきましたが、朝には滑らかになっていました。

Mask Smoothing is incredibly cool on the face and quite soothing. It has a lavender scent that is somewhat strong but not overpowering. After removing the mask, I noticed that some of the redness in my face had dissipated although that might have been due to the green color of the mask (as green neutralizes red). Though the mask ingredients do contain ethanol and menthol, which my skin often cannot tolerate, they did not irritate at all. This could be because the mask is not applied for very long. I used the mask right before going to bed which is what I recommend unless you plan to spend the day relaxing at home. My face did feel slightly sticky before going to bed but was smooth by morning.

ミニエステ マスクはSKIIのシートマスクなどの他のハイエンドマスクよりは安いですが、それでもお値段は高めです。マスクスムージングには２～３枚のマスクを作るのには充分すぎるほどの商品が入っていますが、材料が包みに入っていて一度開けると保存がきかないため、マスクの材料は1度きりしか使えません。使用してみた結果は、もう一度使ってみようと説得させるほど劇的なものではなかったですが、 マスクスムージングは暑い日のお肌には良いコスメかもしれません。このイグニスのミニエステマスクスムージングは1,575円(税込み)です。シートマスクに興味がある方に、イグニスは日々のスキンケア用のネイチャー ウォーター マスクも販売しています。

The mini-esthe mask is rather expensive though cheaper than some of the other high-end masks such as SKII's sheet masks. There is more than enough product in Mask Smoothing for two or three masks but because the mask ingredients come in packets and cannot be stored once opened, you cannot use the mask ingredients more than once. I cannot say that the results were dramatic enough to convince me to use it again but Mask Smoothing does seem like it would be a nice cosmetic treat for your skin on a hot day. One Ignis Mini-esthe Mask Smoothing is 1575 yen (including tax). For those of you interested in sheet masks, Ignis has also released the Nature Water Mask which is a sheet mask for regular skincare use.

038 Eggplant is one of three new eyeshadow shades in Addiction's 2010 Spring Collection "Pastel Rainbow." It is a classic, royal purple that is chic, modern and fashion-forward. It contains silver and red shimmer and has a lovely pearly-finish. The shimmer is very subtle and disappears within an hour or so of wear but the shadow itself is soft, well-pigmented and does not fade easily. Eggplant is great for a smokey eye and a wonderful eyeshadow to add to your makeup collection if you like purple hues. One Addiction shadow is 2,100 yen (including tax). All of the eye shadows in the Pastel Rainbow collection are limited edition colors. Addiction also offers another great purple shadow called Missa, which is part of their permanent collection.

On February 25th, Addiction released their 2010 Spring Collection "Pastel Rainbow," as well as two limited edition sets. The Campaign Addiction set which I purchased includes, one lipstick in 018S Poupée, one eyeshadow in 036P Limoncello, a blush in 09 Acid Pink, a mini-size Misty On skin refresher, one mini-size lipgloss in 003 Dream Pillow, and an original Addiction pouch. Poupée, Limoncello, and Acid Pink are all limited edition shades.

アディク ション オリジナルのポーチは頑 丈でスタイリッシュ、シルバーのクラッチに適度な量のパッドが入っていて、コスメを守ってくれます。結構小さいので、キャンペーンアディクションセットの ような、いくつかの製品が入るほどの大きさでしかありませんが、持ち歩くには充分の良い出来で魅力的です。

The original Addiction pouch is a sturdy and stylish, silver clutch with a fair amount of padding to keep your cosmetics safe. It is quite small and only large enough to store a few products, such as the Campaign Addiction set, but it is well-made and attractive enough to carry with you around town.

アディクショ ンリップスティックのプペはミディアム・ピンクのシアーなリップカラーです。つややかで光沢があり、潤いがありますが、幾分かしか発色がないので、もともと唇の色が薄くない方や色を ハッキリと見せたいという方は、リップコンシーラーかプライマーをつける必要があると思います。私の場合は、唇が僅かに明るくなって少しピンクになるだけですが、これは好きな色です。

The Addiction lipstick in Poupée is a medium-pink lip color that applies sheer. It is waxy, shiny and moisturizing but because it is only somewhat pigmented, you will need to wear a lip concealer or primer if your lips are not naturally pale and you want the color to really show. In my case, it only makes my lips look slightly lighter and pinker but I do like the shade.

リモンチェロは明るくて、ゴールドのようなパール感があるライムグリーン色をしたアイシャドウです。それなりに発色は 良いですが、明るい肌には微かにしか見えません。色の濃さはシャドウを湿らせて付けることで強めることが出来ますが、リモンチェロはスプリングキャンペーンのモデルに見えるほど、ドラマチックでも濃いわけでもありません。アイシャドウのパウダー自体は非常に柔らかくてスムーズ、そして私が過去にレビューした全てのアディクションのシャドウ と同じくキープ力があります。この色は春にピッタリですし、もしグリーンが好きという方には、メイクアップコレクションの中のひとつとして持つにふさわしいシャドウです。

Limoncello is a bright, lime-green eyeshadow with a pearly gold sheen. It is fairly pigmented but can look almost subtle on pale skin. You can build up its intensity by applying the shadow wet but Limoncello is not quite as dramatic or as intense as it appears on the model in the spring campaign. The eyeshadow powder itself is very soft, smooth and has great lasting power as with all of the Addiction shadows that I have reviewed in the past. It is a perfect shade for spring and if you are fond of green, it is a great shadow to have in your makeup collection.

ブラッシュ のアシッドピンクは良質な白いラメが入ったローズピンクのフェイスカラーです。このブラッシュは健康的な赤らみとピンクのパール感、そして近寄ってみないと気付かないほどですが、キラキラを与えてくれます。フェイスパウダー自体は柔らかくて多少発色が良く(恐らく暗 めの肌だと分からないかもしれません)、肌にすぐに馴染みます。これは春と夏にピッタリなブラッシュで す。

The Blush in Acid Pink is a rose-pink face color packed with fine white shimmer. The blush gives the cheeks are nice healthy flush, a pearly-pink sheen and a pretty sparkle that is only really noticeable up close. The face powder itself is soft and somewhat pigmented (though may not show on darker skin tones) and instantly blends into the skin. This is just the right blush for spring and summer.

リップグロ スのドリームピローは、ラメが入ったパール感のあるホワイトグロスです。グロスは濃くもべとつきもしませんし、シアーな仕上がりです。唇をシャイニーで少しキラキラさせます。輝きを出すために、他のリップの上からこのグロスを使うことも出来ます。

The lip gloss in Dream Pillow is a pearly-white gloss with white shimmer. The gloss is neither thick nor sticky and applies sheer. It leaves the lips shiny and just a little sparkly. You can wear it over another lip color for some shine.

ミスティオンのトラベルブレンドはオーガニックでジュニパーベリーの香りがする、センチフォリアバラ花エキスとローズウォーターも配合された、スキンリフレッシャー です。ミストは肌と気持ちをリフレッシュさせる手助けをしてくれます。疲れて”リフレッシュ”したいと感じた時に、ミスティオンを顔から20～30センチ離してスプレーします。これだけを買おうとは思いませんので、キャンペーンアディクションセットには代わりの別のグロスをもうひとつ入れて欲しかったです。

Misty On in travel blend is an organic, juniper berry scented skin refresher that also contains rosa centifolia extract and rose water. The mist is supposed to help refresh your skin and mind. When you are tired and in need of feeling "refreshed," spray Misty On 20-30 cm away from your face. This is not a product that I would purchase separately and would have preferred it if the Campaign Addiction set included another lip gloss instead.

アディクションの2010年スプリングコレクションのキャンペーンアディクションセットは春に適したポイントメイクアップセットです。唯一残念なのは、ちょっと場違いなミスティオンのスキンリフレッシャーです。ほとんどの製品を使うと思いますが、マストアイテムのコフレと言えるかというと定かではありません。もし1つか２つ の製品にしか興味がないのであれば、セットではなく、別々に買うことをお勧めします。キャンペーンアディクションセットは7,980円(税込み)です。

Overall, the Campaign Addiction set from Addiction's 2010 Spring Collection is a decent point makeup set for spring. The only disappointment is the Misty On skin refresher which seems out of place. While I do see myself using most of the products, I do not know if I would call this a must-have coffret. If you are only interested in one or two of the products, I recommend forgoing the set and purchasing the products separately. The Campaign Addiction set is 7,980 yen (including tax).
