Chanel Rouge Coco in 31 Cambon

シャネルのルージュココも、今季お気に入りのリップスティックのひとつです。ルージュ・ヴォリュプよりは微かに発色が少ない(とは言うものの、それで も発色は良いです)ですが、ルージュココは驚くほど滑らかで、カラーを落とした後でも美しい色合いが長時間にわたって持続します。とても軽くてバターのような質感で、唇に付けるとすぐに馴染んで、 まるで何も塗っていないかのような感じがします。雑誌Voceでモデル中川希良が使っていた色を見て、私は31 カンボンを購入しましたが、この色は色白、ピントーン、暗い色の髪をした方にオススメします。カンボンは若々しいチェリーピンクの赤色で、シャネルの本店があるパリのカンボン通り３１番地にちなんで名付けられていま す。このリップスティックは高価な部類に入りますが、そのパフォーマンスと使いやすさを考えると、ルージュココは賢明な投資と言えるのではないかと思います。ルージュココは１つ3,750円(税込)です。

Chanel's Rouge Coco also happens to be one of my favorite lipsticks of the season. Though slightly less pigmented as Rouge Volupté (but still very pigmented nonetheless), Rouge Coco is incredibly smooth and even after it wears off, leaves a beautiful stain that lasts for hours. The formula is so light and buttery that as soon as it is applied, it melts into your lips and feels as though you are not wearing anything at all. I purchased 31 Cambon after seeing the shade on model Kira Nakagawa in an issue of Voce (image on the left) and I highly recommend the shade to any pale-faced, pink-toned, dark-haired gal interested in the Chanel lip color line. Cambon is a youthful, cherry pink-red, named after 31 rue Cambon in Paris where the House of Chanel is located. The lipstick is on the expensive side but considering its performance and wearability, I would say that Rouge Coco is a wise investment. One Rouge Coco shade is 3,750 yen (including tax).

Chanel Rouge Allure Laque 75 Dragon

シャネルのルージュアリュールラックの75 ドラゴンは日本の全てのビューティー＆ハイファッション雑誌で取り上げられた今シーズンのリップカラーだと思います。2週間前に発売開始になり、グロスはオレンジレッドと表現されていますが、ルージュアリュールラックのキャンペーン写真や実際に見た感じでは、よりブルーベースのレッドに近いです。非常に発色が良いドラゴン(個人的にも、今までで最も発色の良いグロスです)は、唇に付けても容器に入った状態と全く同じで素晴らしく、深いピュアレッド
をしています。グロスのツヤは、大胆な赤色のリップを付ける時に女性が共通して持つキツく見え過ぎてしまう問題を防いでくれます。ルージュアリュールラックの他の素晴らしい点は、滑らかでベトつかず、非常に軽い感じがする点です。シャネルのスタイルや赤いリップ好きの方は間違いなくこのドラゴンを気に入ると思いますが、かなり大胆な赤色に興味が無いという方は同じコレクションの他の7色を見てみると良いと思います。ルージュアリュールラックの唯一残念な点は価格ですが、他の素晴らしいリップスティックと比べても同等、もしくはそれ以上に品質が良いと思うので、4,305円(税抜)はシャネルブランドのリップとしては妥当な値段(日本において)だと思います。

Chanel's Rouge Allure Laque in 75 Dragon is probably the most talked about lip color this season in all of the Japanese beauty and high fashion magazines. Released two weeks ago, the gloss is described as an orange-red but looks more like a blue-based red in both Chanel's Rouge Allure Laque campaign and in person. So highly pigmented, (and personally, the most pigmented gloss that I have ever encountered) Dragon, on the lips, looks exactly like the amazing, deep pure-red shade that it appears in the bottle. The shine in the gloss also prevents the lips from looking too severe which is a common problem women have when wearing a bold red lipstick. The other wonderful thing about the Rouge Allure Laque is that it is slick, sticky-free and feels quite light. Chanel beauty and red lipstick fans will absolutely love Dragon but anyone not interested in an ultra-bold red shade should probably look to the other 7 shades offered in the collection. The only downside of the Rouge Allure Laque is the price but given what it delivers, 4,305 yen (plus tax) is a somewhat fair price for a Chanel-brand lip color (in Japan) since it is no different from, or perhaps even better than, a high-quality lipstick.

Coco avant Chanel

Coco avant Chanel (シャネルの前のココ)の予告編がyoutubeに出ていまが、もっと質の高いバージョンが映画のオフィシャルサイトにあります。映画は４月２２日にフランスで公開されます。

The Coco avant Chanel (Coco Before Chanel) trailer has been uploaded on youtube although a higher quality version is available on the film's official website. The film will be released on April 22nd in theaters in France.

Les 4 Ombres de Chanel

I spent the weekend shopping in Harajuku and Shibuya, acquiring several beauty products. Ainz/Tulpe in Harajuku was having a sale on Lancome and Yves Saint Laurent products and was also selling discounted Chanel and Guerlain makeup. I picked up Lancôme nail polish and foundation and a Chanel eyeshadow palette, in addition to eye and face masks and mascara. I also finally bought Shiseido's Ferzea Repair Veil which, I learned, can only be bought from a drugstore as it is a medical hand cream. (My right hand was cracking and beginning to bleed due to the dry weather but is a lot better now!)

先週末は原宿と渋谷でお買い物をしまして、色々なコスメ品を手に入れました。原宿のAinz/Tulpeでランコムとイブサンローランのセールがあって、少し安くなっていたシャネルとゲランのメイク品も売っていました。私はランコムのマナキュアとファンデーションとシャネルのアイシャドウパレットを買って、アイマスクとフェイスマスクとマスカラまでも買いました。それから、やっと資生堂のフェルゼアのリペアベールを薬局でゲットしました。フェルゼアは薬品なのでドラッグストア意外で買えないらしいです。（最近この乾燥したお天気で、右手の皮膚が血が出るくらい割れたり乾燥したりし始めましたが、フェルゼアのおかげて良くなりました！）

The chanel palette I purchased, which you can see here, is the Les 4 Ombres à Paupières Quatuor in 08 Vanités. For some reason the colors look completely different on the Japanese Chanel website but I must say they are absolutely beautiful in person. Purple is one of my most favourite colors and I love purple eyeshadow and mascara, so I just had to have this palette.

上の写真で見えますが、ゲットしたシャネルパレットは レキャトルオンブルの08ヴァニテです。実際はシャネルのウェブサイトに出てる色とは全く違いますが、本当の色はびっくりするぐらい美しいです。紫は私の大好きな色で紫色のシャドウやマスカラも大好きで、このパレットが欲しくてたまらなかったのです。

The Chanel eyeshadows are not as silky and as pigmented as say, Lancôme's shadows, but with some primer they can look beautiful. I think the main problem with the palette is that the sponge tools they come up are a bit rough. I recommend using a brush or a softer sponge-tip applicator and maybe some water. Chanel has an instructional video on their 4 Ombres page to help you figure out how to apply the shadows. The great thing is that you can wear the shadows individually, in pairs, or blend them together on your eyes. I've been wearing them with my Lancôme Virtuôse black mascara but I think they would look stunning with purple mascara, as well. If only I hadn't run out of my Yves Saint Laurent purple mascara...

シャネルのアイシャドウはランコムのほど柔らかくなく、着色していませんが、メイクベースを使うと綺麗に見えると思います。パレットの問題は付いてくるツールがちょっとざらざらしています。それを使うより水とブラシやもっと柔らかいスポンジを使った方が良いと思います。オンブレのサイトでメークアップビデオがありまして、シャドウの付け方を教えてくれます。このパレットのもっと良いところはそれのみで使用してもいいし、ペアで付けてもいいし、全部使ってもいいところです。ランコムのブィルトゥーズの黒と一緒になっていますが、パープルのマスカラと一緒なら、さらに美しいと思います。イブサンローランの紫マスカラを使い切らなければ、、、

I might be a bit biased because I'm a big fan of the Chanel brand (although I cannot afford any of it!), beauty and fashion, and I also love Karl Lagerfeld. I've always admired the Chanel look but ever since I learned about how Coco Chanel modernized women's fashion in my seventh grade French class, I've come to really embrace the brand. Today, the Chanel look is considered "classic" but back in its day, it was innovative and empowering. The clothes were comfortable and actually allowed women to move freely for the first time. I am looking forward to the new Chanel film, Coco avant Chanel (Coco Before Chanel) starring Audrey Tautou.

シャネルブランド（ファションでもメークでも）とカール・ラガーフェルドの大ファンので、ちょっとシャネルに好感を抱いているかもしれません。昔からシャネルルックに憧れていましたが、中学一年生の頃にココ・シャネルが女性のファッションを現代的にしたことを学んでから、ブランドを好むようになりました。現代のシャネルのスタイルは「クラシック」と思われているかもしれませんが、もともとはとても革新的で（女性に）権限を与えるブランドでした。服は着心地のよいもので初めて女性が自由に動けるようなものでした。来年に出る、オドレイ・トトゥが主演する新しいシャネル話の映画、Coco Avant Chanel （シャネルの前のココ）を楽しみにしています。
