Majolica Majorca Blooming Dream Eyes in 真夜中の夢(2)

マジョリカマジョルカのブルーミングドリームアイズの限定パレットについては、あまりコメントすることがありません。この商品は、まさに資生堂のメイクアップブランドといった感じのものです。可愛いパッケージでアイシャドウはキラキラして発色もまあまあ良いです。しかし、特筆すべき点があるかというと、そうでもありません。

I have very little to say about Majolica Majorca's Blooming Dream Eyes limited edition palette. It is exactly what you would expect to see from the Shiseido makeup brand: cute packaging and eye shadows that are shimmery and somewhat pigmented. But nothing particularly exciting.


ブリーミングドリームアイズのパレットには４色のアイシャドウが入っています：アイベース、ニュアンスカラー、シャドウカラー、アイグロスです。アイベースはまぶた全体に塗り、ニュアンスカラーは目頭から目の中央にかけて目尻から目の中央にかけて使うシャドウカラーと馴染ませます。アイグロスは下瞼に使用します (使用方法を見るには、HOW TOをクリックして下さい)。ニュアンスカラーとシャドウカラーはパウダータイプのシャドウで、アイベースはクリームタイプ、アイグロスはグロスそのものです。そのラメ入りのグロスは最初ベト付きませんが、時間が経つと少しベタつきを感じます。

The Blooming Dream Eyes Palette comes with four different eye shadows: an eye base, nuance color, shadow color and eye gloss. The eye base is applied to the whole eye hole while the nuance color is applied to the inner corner of the eyelid and blended into the shadow color, which is applied to the outer corner of the eyelid. The eye gloss is used to line the base of the eye. (Click on HOW TO to watch the MM tutorial.) While both the nuance color and shadow color are powdered eye shadows, the eye-base is a cream-based shadow and the eye gloss is an actual gloss. The sparkly gloss is not sticky at first but feels a bit sticky over time.


真夜中の夢（2）のシャドウは肌に付けるとより明るく見えますが、意外と早く消えてしまい長持ちしません。アイグロスは実用的な感じではないですが、パールのようなアイベースは繊細な感じで結構綺麗に見えます。シャドウにはラメが結構入っているので、仕事場には適さないと感じる方もいるかもしれません。私はパープルとピンクのシャドウが好きですが、もっと発色が良かったらいいなと思います。全体的に、ブルーミングドリームアイズはマストアイテムというよりは、マジョリカのファンのコレクターズアイテム的な物だと思います。限定のブルーミングドリームアイズは1,680円(税込み)です。

The shadows for the Midnight Dream (2) palette look much brighter when applied but fade rather quickly. The eye gloss just seems impractical but the pearly eye base is quite pretty in a subtle way. There is a lot of shimmer in these shadows and some might find them too sparkly for work. I do like the purple and pink shadows but wish they were a little more pigmented. Overall, the Blooming Dream Eyes palette is more of a collectible item for MM fans than a must-have palette. One limited edition Blooming Dream Eyes is 1680 yen (including tax).

Majolica Majorca New Perfect Automatic Liner

7月21日に、資生堂のマジョリカ マジョルカは「パーフェクトオートマティックライナー」の新色7色を発売します。私はつい最近、資生堂からGR604のアイライナーを受け取りました。黒い液状のアイライナーは暗いグリーンパールを含んでいて、ライナーにフォレストグリーンの輝きを与えます。ライナーを使い始めるには、まずキャップの下にあるピンク色のストッパーを引き抜きます。そしてキャップを本体に押し込みます。それからよく振ってからキャップを取り、ペンの底にあるダイヤルをカチカチと10回ほど回してから使います。ライナーのインクが出過ぎることがあるので、まぶたにライナーを使う前にティッシュペーパーなど（私は手の甲を使いました）で筆先を整えてから使うように勧めています。2回目に使う時からはダイヤルを1〜2回だけカチカチと回して使います。

On July 21st, Shiseido's Majolica Majorca will release 7 new "Perfect Automatic Liner" shades. I recently received the eyeliner pen in GR604 from Shiseido. The black liquid eyeliner contains dark green pearls to give it a forest green shine. In order to use the liner, you must first remove the pink stopper below the cap. Then push the cap and top half of the pen into the bottom half. Finally, shake the pen, remove the cap and turn the dial at the bottom of the pen so that it clicks ten times. Since the liner ink may come gushing out, Majolica recommends lightly dabbing the tip of the pen on a tissue (I use the back of my hand) before applying the ink to your eyelid. The next time you use the pen, you only need to turn the dial once or twice to get it to work.


マジョリカのアイライナーペンを使うのは初めてではありません。数年前、オートマチックライナーのVI336という美しいメタリックパープルの物を買い、いつも使っていました。私が知る限り、このカラーはもう手に入らないので、マジョリカが今年の夏に新しいアイライナーカラーを発売することを聞いて、とても楽しみにしていました。でも、新しいパーフェクトオートマティックライナーGR604の問題は、グリーンのスパークルがペンからなかなか出てこなくて、普通の黒いアイライナーにしか見えないところです。私が貰ったペンは少し乾燥気味だったので、何度も塗り重ねをしないといけませんでした。そして１日の終わりには、ライナーが乾燥してポロポロになり、まぶたにはほとんど何も残っていませんでした。良い点はパーフェクトオートマティックライナーのブラシの部分は柔らかくまぶたに簡単につけることができるので、ペンタイプのアイライナーを使い慣れていない人にも使いやすいところです。個人的に、このアイライナーは必ず買いたいと思うような物ではありませんが、キラキラの入っていないマジョリカのアイライナーは以前VI336を使っていたこともあるので、そちらはまた試してみるかもしれません。

This was not my first experience with Majolica's eyeliner pen. A few years ago, I purchased their Automatic Liner in VI336 which was a beautiful metallic purple that I used all the time. As far as I know, the color is no longer available so I was excited when I heard that Majolica would be releasing new eyeliner colors this summer. However, the problem with the new Perfect Automatic Liner in GR604 is that the green sparkles often do not come off the pen brush so GR604 ends up looking like a regular black liner most of the time. My pen was a bit on the dry side and it took several coats of ink for the liner to show up properly on my eyes. By the end of the day, the liner had also flaked off until there was nothing left on my lid. But on the positive side, the Perfect Automatic Liner tip brush was soft and the liner was quite easy to apply, so even those who are not familiar with eyeliner pens should not have much difficulty using it. Still, I do not think that this is something I would actually purchase but I would not rule out trying some of the other Majolica non-shimmery liners out since I did have such a good experience with VI336.

Kanebo Kate and Majolica Majorca Eye Shadow Palettes

I recently purchased Kanebo Kate's Deep Trap Eyes in PU-1 and Shiseido Majolica Majorca's Majo-look (witch-look) Illuminator eyeshadow in BR799. To be honest, both were somewhat of a disappointment. Just too sheer and the colors just didn't work well together.

最近はカネボウケイトのディープトラップアイズPU1と資生堂のマジョリカマジョルカのマジョルックイルミネーターアイシャドーBR799を手に入れました。正直、両方ともちょっとがっかりでした。色が薄過ぎて、あまりよく合いません。

Just looking at the Kate palette, it seems as though the colors would blend well to create a pretty and somewhat sophisticated look, but my eyes ended up looking like they were bruised and tired. My eyelids turned out very red although the two closest colors to rouge in the palette are the pink and the rose shadows on the right. Maybe it's because I'm pink toned that the PU-1 colors didn't show up well. I do kind of like the dark purple as an eyeliner but it is a bit scratchy. I wish I had gone for one of the other palettes instead but I have a feeling all of the shadows are on the very sheer side, even though they are supposed to create a deep, smokey-eye look. The palette might work better for someone with very dark skin.

ケイトのパレットを見ただけだと、結構いい感じの色のコンビネーションに見えますが、目に付けたら目に痣や疲れがあるように見えます。右側のピンクとローズ色したシャドーが一番赤に近いですが、なんだか目蓋がとても赤くみえました。もしかしたら、肌のトーンがピンクなのでPU-1の色があまり合わないかもしれません。その濃いパープルはアイライナーとして悪くないですがちょっとチクチクします。他の色のパレットを買えば良かったと思います。でも、ケイトのデープトラップアイズは深い、スモーキーアイを作るはずですが、多分他のシャドーも薄いと思います。このパレットはとても黒い肌の方に合うかも知れません。


The Majolook was a bit better but the dark eyeshadow turns up more brown than purple. I do really like the illuminator base. The palette does produce a cute, somewhat natural look but again, the shadows are very sheer and the colors don't work well with my skin color. I regret purchasing the palette but I will continue to use it .

マジョルックはケイトより少し良かったですが、濃い方のシャドーは紫より茶色っぽいです。逆にイルミネーターベースが結構好きです。このパレットでナチュラルルックは作れますが、このシャドーもとても薄くて、色も自分の肌にあまり合わないのです。買った後にちょっと後悔の気持ちがありますが、使い続けます。
