Ayura ナイトハーモネーション ルームコレクション Coffret

アユーラのナイトハーモネーション　ルームコレクションは今年最初のクリスマスコフレとして発売された物のうちのひとつです。この3点セットのコフレはナイトハーモネーション ナチュラルスプレー、ナイトハーモネーション アロマオイル、そしてアユーラのオリジナルアロマポットです。ナイトハーモネーションはアロマティックハーブと乳香（にゅうこう）・菩提樹（ぼだいじゅ）・橙（だいだい）の香りを含んでいます。乳香（にゅうこう）と菩提樹（ぼだいじゅ）の香りは、この長持ちでも強過ぎもない大人っぽくユニセックス向けのナチュラルスプレーの中で特に際立っています。これは私が普段つけるような物では無いですが、ナイトハーモネーションの落ち着いた香りは好きです。アユーラオリジナルの電気アロマポットは魅力的なデザインで、すぐにアロマオイルをヒートアップさせてくれます。ポットを使う時は少しの水を上皿に入れて数滴のアロマオイルを加え、ポットのスイッチを入れるだけです。アロマの香りは数分のうちに部屋中に広まります。ナイトハーモネーションオイルは非常に気分を落ち着かせてくれるので、夜にくつろぎたい時に最高です。アユーラのルームコレクションには非常に満足しており、他の新しいオイルもアロマポットで試してみたいです。セットは6,090円(税込み)です。

Ayura's Night Harmonition Room Collection was one of the first Christmas coffrets released this year. The 3-set coffret includes the Night Harmonition Natural Spray, Night Harmonition Aroma Oil and an Ayura-original aroma pot. The Night Harmonition fragrance contains notes of aromatic herbs, frankincense, linden tree (lime) and bitter orange. The frankincense and lime are particularly noticeable in the long-lasting but not overly powerful "natural spray," which is a mature, unisex perfume. Though it is not something that I would normally wear, I do like Night Harominition as it settles. The Ayura-original, electric aroma pot has a very attractive pattern and heats up the aroma oil almost immediately. To use the pot, simply fill the aroma basin with some water, add a drop of aroma oil and turn on the pot. The aroma fragrance will fill your room within minutes. I find the Night Harmonition oil to be quite soothing and great at night when I want to unwind. Overall, I am very pleased with Ayura's Room Collection and look forward to testing out some new oils in the aroma pot. 6,090 yen (including tax).

Benefit Crescent Row Fragrances

ベネフィットは最近、サマーシーズン向けの３つの新しいフレグランスのコレクションをリリースしまして、Sephoraで注文した時にそれぞれのCrescent Row オードトワレのサンプルをもらいました。

Benefit recently released a collection of three new fragrances for the summer season and I received a sample of each Crescent Row eau de toilette with an order from Sephora.

Laugh with me Lee Leeはライトなウッディーフローラルの香りにカシス、メロン、シトラス、ブラックバイオレット、ユリ、ジャスミン、ブロンドウッド、琥珀、サンタルがブレンドされています。かすかにフレッシュでクリーンな香りで、ユリとメロンの香りが引き立っています。肌に付いてから少し落ち着くとより一層甘い香りがします。でも、それは他のライトなフローラルフレグランスと非常によく似ています。

Laugh with me Lee Lee is a light, woody floral fragrance with a blend of cassis, melon, citrus, black violet, lily, jasmine, blonde wood, amber and santal. It is a subtle fresh, clean scent with a noticeable lily and melon-aroma. It smells more sweet as it settles. But it does resemble a lot of other light floral fragrances out there.

Something about Sofiaはオリエンタルフローラルの香りでマンゴ、フリージア、ユリ、ジャスミンサンバック、ボタン、マスク、白キャラメルとバニラビーンの香りが含まれています。このフレグランスはとても甘く、３つのフレグランスの中では一番のお気に入りです。まず、マンゴーとバニラの香りがしますが、肌に付いて落ち着くとピーチ＆クリームに少々のスパイスを振り掛けたような香りになります。甘いですが、そこまで甘くて子供っぽい香りではないです。

Something about Sofia is an oriental floral fragrance with notes of mango, freesia, sheer lily, jasmine sambac, peony petal, musk, white caramel and vanilla bean. It is quite sweet and my favourite of the three fragrances. At first, it smells like mango and vanilla but as it settles, it is more like peaches and cream with a dash of spice. Though it is sweet, it is not an overly young, sugary fragrance.

My Place or Yours Ginaはウッディーオリエンタルの香りにピンクペッパー、ベルガモット、みかん、ボタン、ワイルドラズベリー、白ユリ、パチョリ、トンカビーンとバニラビーンの香りが入っています。このフレグランスを好きか嫌いか、自分にも良く分かりません。とても甘い香りでピンクペッパーとラズベリーの香りが際立っています。最初にこのGinaを試してみた時には特に気に入ったというわけではなかったのですが、２～３回使うとだんだん好きになってきました。何らかの理由でこのフレグランスはあまりフレッシュな感じがしませんが、他の２つのオードトワレよりも香りが長持ちします。

My place or Yours Gina is a woody oriental fragrance with pink pepper, bergamot, tangerine, peony, wild raspberry, white lily, patchouli, tonka bean and vanilla bean. I have very mixed feelings about this fragrance. It is quite sweet and the pink pepper and raspberry really stand out. When I first tested Gina out, I did not care for it at all but after a second and third time around, I am beginning to like it. For some reason, it just does not smell very fresh to me though it does last longer than the other two eau de toilettes.


どれも長時間香りが続くわけでもなく、また同時にどれもあまり強過ぎません。香水好きの方にとって、これらのフレグランスはあまり興味関心を惹く物ではないと思いますが、ライトで強くないものを探している方にはCrescent Rowコレクションはチェックしてみる価値はあるかもしれません。

None of the scents last for a very long time but none of them are overpowering, either. I do not think that perfume snobs will care for any of these scents but those who are looking for something light and inconspicuous may want to check the Crescent Row Collection out.

この香水はとても可愛らしい箱に入っており、それぞれのオードトワレも美しくデザインされたケースに入っています。そして、各フレグランスにはポエムが書かれています。Benefit Cosmeticsの特徴の中で一番好きなのは、その可愛らしいパッケージです。これらのサンプルは今後も使い続けると思いますが、これらを実際に購入するかどうかは分かりません。

The sample scents came in a very adorable box and each eau de toilette for sale is housed in a beautifully-designed container. Each fragrance has a corresponding a poem, as well. One of the aspects I love most about Benefit Cosmetics is their cute packaging. However, I do not see myself actually purchasing any of these fragrances though I will continue to use the samples for now.

Anna Sui Live Your Dream

数週間前、アナスイのオードトワレ Live Your Dreamをお土産に貰いました。このウッディー・フローラルの香りのトップノートはユリ、ウォーターフラワー、ホワイトペッパーで、ミドルノートはジャスミン、ブルガリアンローズ、そしてラストノートはチークウッド、ムスク、トンカビーン、シダーウッドとサンダルウッドです。このフレグランスは強くも弱くもないですが、ほのかに甘くて清潔感があります。Live Your Dreamはアナスイコスメの10周年記念として発売されました。

A couple of weeks ago, I received Anna Sui's eau de Toilette Live Your Dream as a gift. The woody-floral fragrance includes top notes of lily of the valley, waterflower accord, and white pepper; middle notes of sheer jasmine and bulgarian rose; and base notes of teak wood, musk, tonka beans, cedarwood and sandalwood. It is neither powerful nor faint but a somewhat sweet and clean fragrance. Live Your Dream was released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Anna Sui Cosmetics.

L'Occitane Cherry Blossom Petit Collection

For White Day, I received L'Occitane's Cherry Blossom Petit Collection, a set of travel-size skincare products from L'Occitane's new Cherry Blossom line. This is a particularly appropriate gift for spring now that the cherry blossoms are beginning to bloom. The Petit Collection includes:

チェリーブロッサム商品のフレグランスはとても桜っぽいですが、もっと甘い香りで、たまに桜にある特有の木の香りは全くないです。完全にフェミニンな匂いなので人によっては甘過ぎるかも知れません。でも香りはそれほど強くもないしソリッドパフュームもそこまで強l過ぎないです。ソフトハンドクリームはいつもの滑らかなロクシタンのシアバターハンドクリームとそんなに変わりませんが、もう少し薄くて油っぽくなく、そして桜の香りが付いています。シャワージェルは優しくてマイルドなボディーソープ。シャワーから出るととても甘い桜の香りがします。セットの中で一番好きな商品はシマーリングボディミルクで、細かい白いキラキラが入っていて綺麗に輝きます。 チェリーブロッサムプティコレクションはもう売っていませんが、個々の商品はロクシタンのブティックやオンラインストアから手に入れることができます。セットの中からお土産にする商品を選ぶとしたらシマーリングボディミルクとソフトハンドクリームを選びます。

The fragrance of the products smells very much like cherry blossoms in full-bloom but sweeter and without the light woody musk scent that the blossoms can sometimes have. It is most definitely a feminine scent and some may find it too sweet. However, the fragrance is not overbearing and even the solid perfume is not that powerful. The hand cream is typical of L'Occitane's very moisturizing shea butter hand creams but thinner, less greasy, and of course has the blossom scent. The shower gel is a very gentle, mild body soap that leaves you smelling like sweet cherry blossoms. My most favourite product is the Shimmering Lotion which contains small white sparkles with a beautiful shimmer. The gift set is no longer available for purchase but the individual products can be found at all L'Occitane boutiques and online stores. If I were to choose one or two products out the collection to give to a friend, I would go with the shimmering lotion and the hand cream.
