Lancôme Virtuôse Precious Cells Mascara

ランコムのヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルは日本で 発売された最新のランコム マスカラです。普通のヴィルトゥーズ マスカラとは違い、ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルは、ヒアルロン酸とリンゴから抽出された細胞エキスパンテノール（プロビタミンB5）を配合しており、まつ毛の再生と強化を手伝ってくれます。すでにヴィルトゥーズ マスカラを良くご存知の方は、ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルを使うとすぐに、こちらのほうが薄くて滑らか、殆どダマになったり滲んだりしないことに気づくと思います。私は蒸し暑い日に1日中ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルを付けていたことがありますが、まだパンダ目に悩まされたことはありません。チューブとファイバータイプのマスカラのように、ほんの僅かにマスカラがポロポロと落ちますが、外出する前に注意してティッシュで余分なマスカラを拭い取れば問題ないです。オリジナルのヴィルトゥーズ マスカラがまつ毛をボリュームアップさせるのに対し、ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセルはまつ毛を長く、1本1本を際立たせます。個人的にはオリジナルのヴィルトゥーズ マスカラの方が劇的な結果を得られて好みですが、多くの方はプレシャスセルの質感が与えてくれる柔らかくて羽のようなまつ毛を好むのではないかと思います。両方のマスカラ共に1日中まつ毛をカールさせるキープ力は素晴らしいです。私は元々まつ毛が太くて長いので、ヴィルトゥーズ プレシャスセル マスカラのトリートメント効果については語ることが出来ませんが、オイルタイプのメイクアップリムーバーを使えば簡単に落とせますし、他のランコムのマスカラよりも簡単に落ちます。

Lancôme's Virtuôse Precious Cells is the latest Lancôme mascara released in Japan. Unlike the regular Virtuôse mascara, Virtuôse Precious Cells contains hyaluronic acid and panthenol (provitamin B5) plant cell extract from apples to help regenerate and fortify lashes. Those of you familiar with the old Virtuôse will immediately notice upon using the new mascara that the Precious Cells formula is much thinner and slicker than the original Virtuôse formula, and that there is little to no clumping or smudging. I have worn Virtuôse Precious Cells outside all day in hot and humid weather and have yet to suffer from raccoon eyes. Much like tube and fiber-type mascaras, there is just the tiniest bit of flaking but by carefully tissuing off any excess mascara from your lashes before you step outside, the flaking can be eliminated. Whereas the original Virtuous thickened lashes, Virtuôse Precious Cells lengthens and separates. I personally prefer the more dramatic results of the original Virtuôse but many will likely prefer the soft, feathery lashes that the Precious Cells formula seems to produce. Both mascaras do a wonderful job of keeping your eyelashes curled all day. I cannot speak to the treatment properties of the Precious Cells mascara as my lashes are naturally long and thick, but I can say that the mascara comes off easily with any oil-based makeup remover and is much easier to remove than the other Lancôme mascaras.

I am torn over whether I should continue using the regular Virtuôse or switch to Precious Cells. I like the volumizing properties of the regular Virtuôse but with Precious Cells, I never have to worry about smudging, clumping, or dark circles under my eyes. One Virtuôse Precious Cells mascara is 3,990 yen (including tax).

Lancôme Fatale Mascara レビュー

ある日メイクの引き出しを整理していた時、だいぶ前に買ったランコムのファタルマスカラを見付けました。どういったわけか奥の方に引っ掛かっていて、すっかり忘れていました。ファタルは日本では発売されていませんが、とある日にドン・キホーテで発見してたったの2,000円で買いました(ランコムのマスカラは日本で買うと平均でだいたい4,000円くらいです)。

While cleaning up my makeup drawer, I discovered a Lancôme Fatale mascara I had purchased a long time ago. Somehow it had gotten stuck in the back and I had forgotten all about it. Fatale was never released in Japan but I found it at Donki Hote one day and bought it for only 2,000 yen. (The average Lancôme mascara costs around 4,000 yen in Japan.)


ファタルが他のランコムマスカラと何が違うかというと、アンプリフォーム3Dコームがドラマチックで"ファム・ファタル"なボリュームをまつ毛に与えてくれます。最初はブラシを全然気にしていませんでしたが、今ではすっかり使い慣れて結構好きです。このブラシは優しくまつ毛をとかす3Dのハードコームという感じです。コームにマスカラを付け過ぎると固まりの多いまつ毛になり、マスカラが顔に付いてしまうと思いますので、ブレない手と何度かの練習が必要です。ファタルはボリュームを与えることを重視したマスカラと宣伝されていますが、長さとカールもいくらか与えてくれます。一日中キープしますし、ヒプノーズほどこすれて汚れたりしません。最も気に入っている点は、下まつ毛をハッキリさせてお人形さんのような目にしてくれる点です。残念ながら、ファタルは最近オシィラシオンに入れ替わってしまったので、もうランコムのカウンターでは買うことが出来なくなってしまいました。ファタルはとても厚くて黒いまつ毛にしてくれるヒプノーズにかなり近いので、もし見付けることが出来ない場合はヒプノーズを、もしそこまでドラマティックでない物をお探しならヴィルトゥーズを試してみることをオススメします。

What sets Fatale apart from other Lancôme mascaras is its Ampliform 3D Comb that adds dramatic, "femme-fatale" volume to the lashes. At first, I did not care for the brush but now that I have gotten used to it, I kind of like it. It is more like a 3D hard comb that you gently run through your lashes. If you allow too much product on the comb, you may end up with clumpy lashes and mascara on your face, so a steady hand and some practice is necessary. Though Fatale is advertised as a volumizing mascara, it does add some length and will keep your curl. It lasts all day and I have found that it does not smudge as much as Hypnôse. But what I like most about it is how it defines my lower lashes and leaves me with doll-like eyes. Unfortunately, Fatale was recently replaced with the Ôscillation mascara, so it is no longer available at Lancôme counters anywhere. It is quite similar to Hypnôse in that it gives you very thick, very black lashes so if you cannot find Fatale, I recommend trying Hypnôse or Virtuôse, if you are looking for something a little less dramatic.

フェアリードロップスはドラッグストアで買えるマスカラで、その魅力的なパッケージと名前で良く知られており、ロサンゼルスの元ニュースキャスターによって開発された物です。マスカラはウォータープルーフで、固まってくっ付くこと無く豊かなボリュームとカールを約束してくれます。ブラシはユニークな涙型をしていて、まつ毛の一本一本までしっかりキャッチしてコートしてくれるようになっています。

Fairy Drops is a drug-store mascara, well-known for its attractive packaging and name, developed by a former news anchor from Los Angeles. Waterproof, the mascara promises to provide rich volume and curl to the lashes without any clumping. The brush also has a unique teardrop-shape, designed to catch and coat every lash.


このフェアリードロップスのマスカラを使ってみると、まつ毛が繊細で可愛らしい"妖精のような"感じになりました。ボリュームを増やしてくれますが、カールをキープするのにちょうど良い軽さです。ヴィルトゥーズやイプノーズほどのドラマチックな結果は出ませんが、ドラッグストアで買える他のマスカラよりも断然良いと思います。しかし、ほとんどまつ毛を長く見せてくれない点と(長く見せるとは約束していませんが)、商品説明に書いてあるのに、結構固まってくっ付いてしまいます。マスカラを付けた日の終わりには目の下が黒くなり、合成繊維の素材のせいか目がかゆくなります。使ってみていくつか問題があったので、またフェアリードロップスを買うとは思いませんが、将来的にプラチナ・バージョンは試してみるかもしれません。税込みで1,575円です。


After using the mascara, I found that Fairy Drops gave my eyelashes a delicate, pretty, "fairy-like" appearance. It added volume to my lashes but was light enough to help maintain their curl. While the mascara did not produce as dramatic results as Hypnôse or Virtuôse, I do think it they were more dramatic than what I have seen from some of the other drugstore mascaras. However, it did little in terms of lengthening (though it never promised it would) and despite its claims, did clump quite a bit. At the end of each day I wore the mascara, I had dark circles under my eyes and my eyes itched, likely due to the fiber-like formula. I do not think I will purchase Fairy Drops again because of the problems I have experienced but I may try the Platinum version in the future. 1,575 yen including tax.

SANA Extra Large Mascara

マスカラを取り替える時期が来た時、私はサナのエクストララージマスカラをドンキホーテで選びました。ウォータープルーフでファイバータイプのこのマスカラは、"エクストララージ"でカーリーなまつ毛を約束してくれ、ビタミンEとチュベローズエキスが含まれています。私はドラマチックなものを求めてこのマスカラを買いました。

When it became time for me to replace my mascara, I picked up Sana's Extra Large Mascara at Donkihote. The water-proof, fiber-type mascara promises "extra large," curly lashes and contains vitamin E and tuberose extract. I purchased the mascara expecting some very dramatic results.



エクストララージマスカラのブラシ部分は確かに"大きい"ですが、そのブラシによってもたらされた効果はそんなに"大きく"はありませんでした。このマスカラは私のまつ毛を分離させて長くしてくれますが、ボリューム自体は少なめです。ですので、私がいつもやっているようにビューラーと電気カーラーの両方を使ってまつ毛をカールさせなければなりませんでした。エクストララージマスカラの良い点は、あまりポロポロしなくてナイロンフリーであるところですが、非常に典型的なファイバータイプのマスカラです。他のファイバーやフィルムマスカラ(例えばウィンクアップマキシグレードやヒロインマスカラ等)は少し安い値段で買えますし、ボリュームの具合もそれらの方が少し良いです。ビタミンEとチュベローズエキスを配合しているので、サナはまつ毛の"トリートメント"効果を強調しているようですが、それに関しては特別詳しく説明しているわけではありません。エクストララージマスカラは最も購入しやすいマスカラのひとつで1,500円(税抜き)で買えますが、本当にドラマチックなものを求めるには、やはりランコムのヒプノーズとヴィルトゥーズマスカラに頼り続けないといけません。

While the Extra Large Mascara wand was certainly "large," the results it left were not very "big." The mascara separated and lengthened my lashes to an extent but provided little volume. I also had to go through my usual routine of using both a metal and electric eyelash curler to get my lashes curled. One positive aspect of Extra Large is that it does not flake very much and is nylon-free, but it is otherwise a very typical fiber-type mascara. And there are other fiber or film-type mascaras (such as the Wink Up Maxigrade and Heroine mascaras) that come at a cheaper price and do a slightly better job for volume. As for the vitamin E and tuberose extract, SANA only claims that they were added for eyelash "treatment" purposes but does not specifically state what they are supposed to do. The Extra Large Mascara is one of the more affordable mascaras at 1,500 yen (without tax) but for real dramatic results, I think I am still going to have to rely on Lancôme's Hypnôse and Virtuôse mascaras.

先月、私の素敵なプーペ友達のUtoshiちゃんが日本では買うことの出来ない、東欧(だと思います)のコスメが入った小包を送ってくれました。ラベルは全てロシア語で書かれていますので詳細は語れませんが、どれもとても素敵で可愛いです。私のお気に入りの一つは、左の写真のルビーローズ キャンディーグロスです。日本のクレープ屋さんのような甘くて美味しい香りで、まるでキャンディーのように霜が降りたような、粉砂糖をまぶしたような感じにしてくれます。

Last month, my wonderful poupee friend Utoshi sent me a package of Eastern European (I think) cosmetics not available in Japan. Their labels are in Russian so I cannot tell you all that much about them except that they are all very lovely and adorable. One of my favourite items is the Ruby Rose Candy Gloss seen here on the left. It has a sweet, delicious scent like the crêpe stands in Tokyo and leaves your lips looking frosty and sugary, just like a piece of candy.

The Ruby Rose Liquid Lipstick is a berry-scented, highly-pigmented lipgloss with great lasting-power. I was surprised just how little of the gloss had worn off hours after I had applied it. For more sparkly lips, you can add more shimmer with the gloss on the other end of the product.

Maquillage Full Vision Mascara & Liner

最近、先月発売された資生堂マキアージュのフルビジョンマスカラ＆ライナーのVI635を手に入れました。ライナーもマスカラもウォータープルーフになっています。VI635は美しく濃いメタリックなプラム・パープル色に細かいバイオレットのキラキラが入っています。発色が良いこのリキッドライナーは乾くまでに時間がかかりますが、とてもキレイなスパークルが入っていて、パープルシャドウとスモーキーアイルックにとても合います。もし手が震えてしまうような人にとっては、最初はアイライナーをつけるのが難しいかもしれませんが、何回か練習を重ねると慣れてきます。

I recently acquired Shiseido Maquillage's Full Vision Mascara & Liner in VI635 which was released last month. Both the liner and the mascara are waterproof. VI635 is a beautiful deep, metallic, plum-purple shade with fine violet shimmer. The highly pigmented liquid liner takes a while to dry but once it does, it has a very pretty sparkle and works great with purple shadows and smokey-eye looks. If you have unsteady hands like me, you will probably have a difficult time applying the eyeliner at first but with some practice, it will get easier.


フルビジョンマスカラの「3エフェクター」ブラシは変わった形をしています。片側にはとても短い毛足が、もう片側には長い毛足がカーブ状になってついています。まず、短い毛足をまつ毛の根元にあて、持ち上げるようにマスカラつけます。それから今度は長い毛足がカーブ状になっている方を使ってまつ毛全体につけます。こちら側の毛足はまつ毛をセパレートさせる役目を果たします。そして最後に、ブラシの先端部分を使って塗り残しがないように仕上げます。フルビジョンマスカラはファイバータイプのマスカラで、まつ毛を長く美しく、羽根のように見せてくれます。でもマスカラはちょっとポロポロして、そのパープル色は自然な太陽の光の下で見てまつ毛の先端にちょっと見えるくらいでした。マスカラのキラキラは良いアイデアだと思いますが、ブラシの形は私にとってマスカラをまつ毛全体につけるには難しいです。

The Full Vision Mascara "3 Effector" brush has a very unusual shape. It has very short bristles on one side and long bristles that slope down and up on the other side. First, you are supposed to apply the mascara to your top lashes using the short bristles in an upward, sawing motion. Then you use the other side of the brush with the long, sloping bristles on all of your lashes. This side of the brush is supposed to help separate the lashes. Finally, you use the tip of the wand to apply any mascara to lashes you may have missed. Full Vision is a fiber-formula mascara that lengthens your lashes and leaves them looking beautiful and feathery. But I found that the mascara was a bit flaky and the purple color was only visible on the ends of my lashes under natural sunlight. The shape of the brush also made it more difficult for me to apply mascara to all of the my lashes, although the shimmer is a nice touch.

私は色の付いたマスカラに興味があったのでマキアージュのフルビジョンマスカラ＆ライナーを買いましたが、どちらかというとアイライナーの方が気に入りました。このパープル色のマスカラを試す前はグリーン色のGR534も買おうと思っていましたが、マスカラの品質にあまり満足していないので、今はGR534を買うかどうか分かりません。もしもリキッドアイライナーのみが単品で発売されたら買うかもしれませんが、商品の半分しか使わないのに2,625円を払う気にはなれません。このマスカラが粗悪なマスカラであるということでは決してありませんが、ファイバータイプのマスカラは私にはあまり合わないみたいです。

I purchased Maquillage's Full Vision Mascara & Liner because I was interested in the colored mascara but I find myself much more impressed with the eyeliner. I was considering purchasing the green Full Vision before I tried out the purple shade and I am just not satisfied enough with the performance of the mascara to want to buy GR534 now. If the liquid eyeliner was sold separately, I would probably get it but I do not want to pay 2625 yen for a product that I only half-use. The mascara is by no means a poor mascara but the fiber formula just not work well for me.

Bihada Ichizoku Triple Wink Beam Mascara

やっとのことで、今話題になっている美肌一族の限定黒薔薇仮面のトリプルウィングビームマスカラを手に入れました。マスカラはインターネットでしか買えないので、近くの薬局に美肌一族の商品が置いてあったとしても、トリプルウィンクビームはありません。直接ラブラボ・美肌一族のサイトから注文できますし、私みたいにアマゾンからも注文出来ます。マスカラは１８９０円ですが、シッピング（５５０円）や他の手数料が入っていないので、実際の値段は2500~3000円に近いです。

I finally got my hands on the much talked about Bihada Ichizoku's limited Kurobara Kamen ("black rose mask") Triple Wink Beam Mascara. The mascara can only be purchased online so, even if your local drugstore carries many Bihada Ichizoku products, they do not have the mascara. You can order directly from Love Labo/Bihada's website or through Amazon Japan, which is what I did. Although the mascara is priced at 1890 yen, it does not include shipping (550 yen) or any additional fees. The actual price is somewhere around 2500-3000 yen.

マスカラはまつ毛にボリューム、セパレート、と「ロング」の効果を与えるはずですが、私にはそのうちの２つしか効果がありませんでした。結構ボリュームをつけて少し長さも伸びましたが、セパレートするよりむしろまつ毛を束にさせて、トゲトゲになってしまいました。もしかしたら、もっと細いまつ毛の方が使ったら違うかもしれません。マスカラもかなり強い、安くて古い香水のような香りが付いていて、目をヒリヒリさせました。マスカラの好きなところはあんまり落ちたりしない、まつ毛のカールを守る、お湯で簡単に落ちるということだけでした。結構、美肌一族のブランドのファンで沢山の良いレビューを聞いてトリプルウィンクビームを手に入れることをワクワクしながら待っていたので、とてもがっかりです。２５００～３０００円出すならランコムのマスカラの方が良いと思います。

The mascara is supposed to add volume, separate, and lengthen the lashes but in my case, only did two of the three. It added a fair amount of volume to and lengthen my lashes but instead of separating, it clumped my eyelashes together and made them kind of spiky. Maybe if I had thinner lashes the end result would have been very different. The mascara also has a powerful, cheap, old perfume smell that irritated my eyes. The only thing I really liked about Triple Wink Beam was that it did not flake very much, kept my lashes curled, and was easily removed with warm water. I am very disappointed because I am a fan of the Bihada Ichizoku brand and I was so excited about Triple Wink Beam after hearing such positive reviews. For 2500-3000 yen, I would rather go with one of Lancôme's award-winning mascaras.

Le 2 de Guerlain Mascara

I recently tested Guerlain's Le 2 de Guerlain Masacara. It comes with a regular sized brush on one end and a mini brush on the other. The are four colors available: black, brown, blue, and butterfly sparkle (black and shimmering violet). I tried the one in black.

このあいだはゲランのル・デュウマスカラを試しました。２本のブラシの１つは普通サイズで、もう１つはミニサイズ。色は４色ありまして、ノアール、ブルー、ブラウン、とバイオレットです。ノアール（黒）を使ってみました。

While the mini-brush does make it easier to apply mascara to the harder to reach areas and lower lashes, the mascara did very little but darken my lashes. If my lashes weren't already long, they might have lengthened them, too. It wasn't very volumizing and became dry and somewhat flaky. What concerns me the most is that the mascara is scented. The scent is not unpleasant but I started to get a headache after a while and my eyes became irritated. I'm not sure why Guerlain added fragrance to the mascara but I do know that they like scented products. Still, it doesn't seem very wise to have a scented product applied so close to the eyes. I think I'll stick with Lancôme and Yves Saint Laurent.

ミニブラシで、いつもマスカラを付け難いまつ毛まで簡単に綺麗にマスカラを付けられますが、ほとんどはまつ毛を黒くしただけです。まつ毛が長くなかったらもっと長く見えるようになったかもしれません。ですが、ボリューム的に何も変化がなかったですし、乾燥して少しパサパサになりました。一番心配なのはマスカラに香りがついていることです。変な香りではないですが、時間がたったら頭が痛くなったり、目もちょっと炎症を起こしました。なぜマスカラにフレグランスを入れたのか分かりませんが、ゲランがよく商品にそういうことします。でも、目もとの商品には良くないと思います。ランコムとイブ・サンローランを愛用することにします。

Wink Up Maxigrade Mascara SP

At Ainz/Tulpe the other week, I also purchased Wink Up's Maxigrade Mascara SP. Wink Up is owned by Osaka cosmetics company Naris and carries several different mascaras and eyeliners. Maxigrade Mascara SP is a basic mascara for the busy woman that lengthens, adds volume, and keeps the lashes curled. It is a film-type mascara that is both waterproof and removable with warm water. It dries instantly so you don't have to worry about smudging or rubbing it off. As far as I know, it only comes in black.

原宿のAinz/Tulpeに行った時に、ウィンクアップのマキシグレードマスカラSPを買いました。ウィンクアップは大阪のコスメ株式会社ナリスのブランドで、色々なマスカラやアイライナーを担当しています。マキシグレードマスカラSPは忙しい女性のためにまつ毛を長くみせ、ボリュームアップとカールキープもします。フィルムタイプで、ウォータープルーフですが、メークリムーバーが必要なく、お湯で落とせます。すぐに乾きますので、落ちたり、にじまないのです。色は黒しかないと思います。


Maxigrade Mascara SP is similar to Blinc's Kiss Me Mascara and Fiberwig in that it coats each individual lash with synthetic fibers and does not clump. But unlike the other two mascaras, it delivers on all of its promises to lengthen, add volume, and keep your lashes curled. It dries immediately and is surprising light. It is not as luxurious or as dramatic as Lancôme's mascaras but it does create beautiful lashes. The mascara did not smudge or leave me with raccoon eyes, either, and I was able to remove it completely with some warm water. (It did flake off a tiny bit after several hours but it was nothing like Kiss Me or Fiberwig.) The best selling point, however, is that it only costs 1100 yen and can be purchased at most drugstores. The only real downside to the mascara is that it contains Nylon-6 and Nylon-66 which may be harmful to soft-contact wearers.

マキシグレードマスカラSPはBlincのKiss MeマスカラとFiberwigに似てて、まつ毛の一本一本にまで塗れ、ファイバーを付けてくれるのでまつ毛同士がくっ付きません。そして他の二つのマスカラと違って、ロング、ボリュームアップ、カールキープの全てをやってくれます。すぐに乾きますし、かなり軽いです。ランコムのマスカラほどエレガントでドラマチックではないですが、結構綺麗なまつ毛に仕上がります。マキシグレードマスカラも、にじんだり、パンダ目になりませんでしたが、簡単にお湯で落とせました。（数時間後、少しファイバーが落ちましたが、Kiss MeやFiberwigほどではなかったです。）ですが、一番のセールスポイントはやはりコストが1、100円だけでほとんどのドラッグストアで買えることです。ちょっと問題があるとすれば、そのマスカラにはナイロン-6とナイロン-66が入っているので、もしかしたらソフトコンタクトの人に有害かもしれないという点です。

Aube Couture Lipstick

I recently received samples of four Aube Couture's lipsticks for Spring and a little booklet describing the rest of their new products for the season.

最近、オーブクチュールから新リップスティックのサンプルとオーブの新しいポイントメイクを説明するボックレットが届きました。

Aube is a makeup brand under Sofina that has recently been revived as "Aube Couture." With their new line, Aube aims to sell makeup easy to put on that also compliments the skin tone to create a natural and pretty look.

オーブはソフィーナのメイクブランドです。２００９年から新しく、「オーブクチュール」として誕生します。この新しいメイクは簡単に実現出来る、綺麗に誰にでも似合う（「似合うきれい」）ようなメークらしいです。

Aube Couture's new lipsticks, Designing Rouge, contain "harmonize (gold) pearls." That is, they contain a gold shine to "harmonize" with the average Japanese (East-Asian) skin tone, which is more yellow than pink. Hues that blend with or compliment the East-Asian skin tone have become a theme among many of the Japanese makeup brands, lately. The lipsticks are also described by Aube as "mild-shiny" and moist.

オーブクチュールの新しいリップスティックデザイニングルージュには「ハーモナイズパール（ゴールド）」が入っています。日本人の肌色（青み弱い、黄み強い）になじむようなゴールドパールがルージュに配合しています。アジア人の黄色いスキントーンに合う色商品が最近、日本のコスメのテーマになっています。デザイニングルージュも「マイルドシャイニー」と「しっとりうるおい」らしいです。


There are 16 different colors available for the Designing Rouge lipsticks and can be divided into four groups: rose (RS), red (RD), pink (PK), and beige (BE). The samples included PK101, RS301, RD501, and BE701.

デザインイングルージュには１６色があり、４つの色系統に分けています：ローズ系（RS)、レッド系（RD）、ピンク系（PK）とベージュ（BE）です。送られたサンプルにはPK101、RS301、RD501とBE701が入っていました。


The lipsticks were quite moist and smooth and glided on (by finger, as they were samples and not full sticks) well. The colors were also very natural, not overly shiny, with a hint of gold sparkle. The lipstick contain no fragrance which is also a plus for those who are allergic to or get a headache from smelly makeup. The only downside, really, was that the colors did not work well with my skin tone, which is more cool and pink-based than yellow. The colors came out a little too orange for me although I do like the rose-colored RS301. However, I think the colors would look very flattering on East-Asian skin (which is their purpose, after all) and if you're someone with a yellow skin tone looking for something more natural and smooth, I would recommend checking out those new Aube Couture's Designing Rouge colors. Aube Couture also has lipsticks in each of the four groups containing silver sparkles that might suit those with a more cool tone. (3,200yen without tax)

オーブのルージュはかなりスムーズさとうるおいで、綺麗に唇に付きました。色もとてもナチュラルな感じでちょっとゴールドに輝いていました。無香料なのでフレグランスにアレルギーがある方でも使えます。残念ながら、自分の肌は黄みより青みが強いなので、そのハーモナイズパールした４つのルージュは肌に合わなかったです。オレンジっぽすぎでしたが、RS301にちょっと興味があります。でもナチュラルでスムーズなリップスティックを探しているアジア人や黄みが多い方なら、この新しいデザインルージュの色をお勧めします。オーブクチュールには白い光るパールのルージュもあるらしいので、黄みが弱い肌の方にも合う色があるかもしれません。（３２００円）


In addition to a line of lipstick, Aube Couture is also coming out with eyeshadow compacts, blush, mascara, eyeliner set, eyebrow set, and makeup remover. I am most intrigued by their Designing Double Mascara.

リップスティックの他には、アイシャドウ、チークカラー、マスカラ、アイライナーセット、アイブロウセットとポイントメイクアップリムーバーが来年に出ます。自分はデザイニングダブルマスカラに興味あります。



The volumizing mascara has a small, angled brush on one side and a larger brush on the other with small hooks to coat each individual lash. The mascara is supposed to hold well even under sweat and tears and can be easily removed with your regular cleanser. It comes in two colors: BK601 (black) and BR602 (brown). (3000yen without tax)
